I want to thank the Eugene City Council for hiring a former Army Colonel from Fresno, CA to serve as Eugene’s city manager. Now that I see the caliber of Army personnel that can rise to the rank of Colonel, I have a much better understanding of why patriotic heroes like Army Ranger/Arizona Cardinal Pat Tillman die from “friendly fire.”
